With the Update On-Demand feature, you can easily update older versions of Automation Studio to the latest version. The feature supports updates from the last two versions of the application. This feature is supported for 7.6 and higher versions; if the user uses the 7.5 or below version and is not on the latest version, it is mandatory to update; without an update, they cannot use AS.
If an old supported native version is installed in the Automation Studio interface, the Update Automation Studio button will be displayed at the top of the screen. By clicking this button, the minimal native version will be downloaded, and the subsequent installation process will proceed like the current flow.
If an old unsupported version is installed on your system, you will be directed to the update screen, where updating the application is mandatory to continue using Automation Studio. Upon updating, the minimal native version will be installed, ensuring a seamless transition to the latest version.
The Update On-Demand feature allows you to defer updates for up to two minor releases. For instance, if you use version 7.6.0.30 of Automation Studio and NICE releases an update (7.6.0.31), you can defer this update. If another update (7.6.0.32) is released, you can still continue using version 7.6.0.30. However, you must upgrade when a third update (7.6.0.33) is introduced. In other words, this feature allows you to manage their Automation Studio updates up to N+2 versions, where N is the current version. This can be summarized as follows:

To update to the latest version of Automation Studio, do the following:

Click Update Automation Studio on the top of the screen.

If you want to update later, click Update Later.

Follow steps 5 to 12 from Install Automation Studio.
The Automation Studio update is completed.
